Our specialist clinicians use an integrative and holistic approach to neurorehabilitation, drawing from positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Systemic approaches, Positive Behavioural Support and Cognitive Rehabilitation to inform work with our clients.

Our team all have statutory registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and professional membership as British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologists within the Divisions of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. We have enhanced DBS checks and professional indemnity insurance. We carefully match our clinicians skills, experience and location with clients to ensure collaborative and productive working relationships.

Dr Sonja Soeterik

Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

Dr Soeterik established Neurolink Psychology in 2007 having been the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Manager leading specialist neurorehabilitation services at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. She previously worked in post acute neurorehabilitation at the Frank Cooksey Unit, Kings College NHS Trust. Dr Soeterik provides expert neuropsychology evidence to the High Court and Court of Protection in relation to personal injury, clinical negligence and mental capacity. She is currently an Associate Lecturer on the Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Neuropsychology at Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University.

Dr Rachael Parry

Dr Parry has been working with Neurolink Psychology since 2015 and leads our Cambridge Team. She previously held NHS posts at the Neuro-rehabilitation Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and was Neuropsychology Lead on the Inpatient Neuro-rehabilitation Unit and Early Supported Discharge Service in the community at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Louise Breuer

Principal Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

Dr Louise Breuer has been working with Neurolink Psychology since 2019. She has previously held NHS posts in Barts Health NHS Trust and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Test. Dr Breuer was neuropsychology lead for the Tower Hamlets Stroke pathway. She has been an Associate Clinical Tutor on the Doctoral training programmes at University College London and Royal Holloway University. She has particular expertise in working with people from the LGBTQI+ community.

Dr Louise Warren

Dr Warren has worked with Neurolink Psychology since 2015. She has held posts with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust at Kerwin Court and at the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Service at St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust as well as with older adults at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and in Surrey. She is the current Chair of British Psychological Society Mental Capacity Advisory Group.  Dr Warren provides expert evidence to the High Court and Court of Protection in relation to personal injury, clinical negligence and mental capacity. She has been an Associate Clinical Tutor on the Doctoral training programme and the University of Surrey and is currently an Associate Lecturer on the Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Neuropsychology at Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University.

Dr Emma Ferguson

Principal Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

Dr Emma Ferguson has been working with Neurolink Psychology since 2012 and leads our Oxfordshire Team.  She has had posts in the NHS as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist (Neuropsychology) in an outpatient neuropsychology service and on an acute inpatient stroke ward with Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She has worked in specialist neuro-rehabilitation with severe and profound brain injury at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, and in mental health with older adults with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Marie Claire O’Brien

Dr O’Brien has worked with Neurolink Psychology since 2013. She also holds a post as the Lead for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation with Kings College Hospital NHS Trust. Dr O’Brien has previously worked in a number of neurorehabilitation with inpatient and community services including; the Royal London Hospital, Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Blackhealth Brain Injury Centre, Charing Cross Hospital and Huntercombe Group, as well as internationally in Dublin and Montreal. She is an Associate Lecturer on the Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Neuropsychology at Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University.

Dr Sarah Crawford

Dr Crawford has worked with Neurolink Psychology since 2009. Dr. Richard Irwin

Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist

Dr Richard Irwin is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist  has worked across specialist neuro-rehabilitation services including a Level 1 rehabilitation service and a transitional rehabilitation service.  He has held posts as at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability as the Clinical Programme Lead for the Neuro-behavioural Service and as the Lead for Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards within the Hospital. Dr Irwin has contributed to the BPS national guidance on Challenging Behaviour and on Best Interest Decision Making.  Dr Irwin has worked in primary care psychology at Homerton University Hospital and with the British CBT and Counselling Service.  He is an honorary associate lecturer on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London and at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, Kings College London.

Dr Robert Rauch

Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist

Dr Robert Rauch brought 27 years of experience in providing Expert Witness reports in neuropsychology in personal injury and clinical negligence matters to Neurolink Psychology in 2022.  He has previously held neuropsychological assessment and neurorehabilitation posts with Northern Trust Brain Injury Service,  Northern Health & Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland) and The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, London.  Dr Rauch was an assistant course director in the Clinical Psychology Training Course at Queen’s University, Belfast and is the current Module Lead on the PGDip in Clinical Neuropsychology, Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University. Dr Rauch is currently in training as a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher.

Dr. Rebecca Martland

BSc (Hons), MSc (Distinction), PhD, DClinPsy

Dr Martland first joined Neurolink Psychology in 2023 as an Assistant Psychologist whilst she completed her advanced doctoral training in clinical psychology in 2024.  She is experienced in providing neuropsychological assessment, neurorehabilitation, supervision to neuroscience support workers and psychological interventions (CBT, ACT, CFT) across the lifespan.  She has had specialist doctoral training placements in Adult Community Neurorehabilitation and Inpatient Stroke (Croydon Health Services NHS Trust), King’s College Hospital Neuropsychology (King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust), and Southwark Neurodevelopmental Service (South London and Maudsley NHS Trust).  She has previously worked as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
